Anna Young
I started Leonine Designs when I was 19, and while the vision has evolved, my love of jewelry making is never exhausted. My father was an antique reseller growing up, and ever since I started making jewelry I’ve loved to incorporate vintage and found objects in my work. The emotional history behind the adornments we use to express ourselves has always intrigued me.
My current line of work gives new life to vintage glass and antique crystal, combining playful etched elements that echo the past but sparkle paired with traditional fine metals and contemporary design.

Product Process
Being neurodivergent, I’m very tactile and I like to take my time making, I enjoy the process and having my hand in every step. I enjoy crafting my own stamps for creating texture, and use traditional etching methods to create imagery on metal. Finding the vintage glass and crystal I use is half the fun, I love to work with local antique dealers and independent shops to track down rare and beautiful materials.
My work emphasizes play, while celebrating identity and giving new life to antiquated treasures.
