Aleksandra Apocalisse Art
Aleksandra is a self-taught painter and illustrator, working most often with acrylic, watercolor, and ink. She has always been in love with nature and fascinated by ecology. Her goal is to merge art and science into a holistic worldview, one cohesive love letter to nature. Aleksandra’s artworks are, for the most part, bits of her subconscious mind in their attempts to become conscious content. Informed by her background in neuroscience and animal behavior, she strives to expose animals as individuals with rich inner worlds and personal stories. If there’s any thought that drives her work more than anything, it’s the notion that we are all inextricably connected with each other and the environment around us.
