Youkyoung Jung

Our story began in New York City, in 2013. We were both fashion designers at the same company and became fast friends. But a few years later, one of us moved to the Pacific Northwest, then each of us had a child in 2017.

We began to wonder - what were our passions and what did success mean for us? We had the same realization. We are passionate about design and care deeply about the well-being of our families. That is how we define success.

How it began

 

We immediately started brainstorming about thoughtful, functional, and fashionably designed products, and somehow - with next to no free time - we managed to bring Hanuk Design into the world.

We hope that through detailed care and quality materials, we can create unique products that everybody can enjoy and express who they are. Colorful, creative, and inspired by what we see every day, each product represents what we love about the world we live in.

We want everything we create to be sustainable and contribute to the community as much as possible.
